Spring is sneaking in...

Well, it has been a good month since my last post with much taking place since then. Winter quarter ended, I went to Arizona for the break to see Grams and family, we sent Ms. S off to Copenhagen with a proper brunch, flowers are breaking ground, trees are blooming, birds are singing and the earth is tilting more toward the sun every day. Now spring quarter is on, the cherry blossoms are bursting in the quad and everything is greener and happier. I need to enter worker-bee mode and finish some baby blankets for next weekend's baby shower for Lynn and the twins and send a package off to Lady J. who, being a spring baby herself, has a birthday coming up! Here is the photo update!

Let the light shine in!
Egg project with Grams including tree that she used to display crafts and jewelry at craft shows! We want to make it into an egg tree.

Our department moved into the UW Tower which is the only sky-rise in the U-district...very much an office space, but spectacular 360 degree views! (better pics to come)

Miss S. is off to Copenhagen and we hosted a nice spring brunch for her:

Rhubarb Scones and Cranberry-Orange Scones...
Cheery flowers for the bedroom:

The bulbs are waking up from the long winter!

The Cherry Blossoms in the quad are back for the spring...see them while they last:

My favorite is the little one catching the frisbee.

Looking forward to more blooming of all kinds...
