Summertime Update:
The silence has been deafening at Made This but that doesn't mean things went unmade! The summer has been full and happy, with a few setbacks. Part of the minimal blog updates is because we were robbed! They stole our computer (including all of my recently uploaded but not saved pictures from the last part of the year). I will slowly be reconstructing our summer visually here now that we have a new computer and a major backlog of blog to update. R and I have had a delicious summer and have been happy as cupcakes from
Trophy Cupcake the red velvet and the s'mores (their specialty).
The garden has grown into a nice little oasis. The bounty is ready for harvest and has played a major role in some culinary adventures this summer:

I squirreled away a number of servings in the freezer for the coming months.
